Urja Biosystems utilizes anaerobic digestion technology to convert organic waste from sources like pigs, horses, and camels into methane-rich biogas. This waste is processed in sealed digesters where bacteria decompose it, generating biogas used for cooking, lighting, heating, or electricity. Following digestion, the remaining nutrient-rich digestate functions as organic fertilizer, enriching soil fertility. Urja Biosystems designs tailored biogas systems for each waste type, ensuring efficient operation and sustainable energy production while effectively managing agricultural waste.
